Working With Us

  • Please reach out via our contact us form or email us at hello@mondaygems.com. We offer custom gemstone sourcing for all our bespoke projects and/or we can work with your existing pieces to rework into a new custom piece

  • Of course! When reaching out it would be helpful to include pictures of your existing piece as well as any documentation so we can best assist.

  • As each piece is unique with it’s own requirements, the overall timeline will vary. Once a stone is selected and the design is finalized, production will require ~4weeks depending on the complexity of the deisng. On average our custom pieces require 6 - 9 week total.

  • We work exclusively in solid gold and platinum to ensure the longevity, integrity, and quality of every piece.

  • Yes, design consultation can be scheduled with one of our team members on an ad-hoc basis. If you’d like to schedule a consultation, please email hello@ mondaygems.com with a few available dates/times.

    Please note, estimates will only be provided through email communication.

  • We offer a one-time complimentary resize on rings within 30 days of delivery. For integrity and gemstone security, rings can only be adjusted up or down by up to ½ size. We’ll always let you know in advance if your piece will be resizable or not.

    Clients outside of NYC are responsible for insured shipping both ways.

  • No, the design render is intended to provide our clients with a visual representation of the design, specifically the proportions and shape of the piece. The rendering of stones is illustrative of the approximate color (i.e. yellow vs blue vs pink) but is not demonstrative of the exact color of luster of the stone used in the real piece.

    Our team will share a real life photo/video of your stone/stone options for your final approval before they are used in your custom piece.

Gem Drops

  • As we source stones for our clients, we often discover truly remarkable stones that stand out due to their stunning visual appeal, an unusually competitive price, or other unique qualities. When we find these special stones, we secure them and offer them to you through our Gem Drop! It's a chance to own a truly unique and beautiful stones.

  • Due to the exclusive and limited nature of our Gem Drops, all sales are final. We do not offer exchanges, refunds, or cancellations.

  • You have the flexibility to purchase gemstones loose or have them set into a custom jewelry piece. After your purchase, our team will contact you to confirm whether you'd like the gemstone shipped as is or if you'd prefer to explore custom setting options.

  • Once you purchase a gemstone, our team will reach out to discuss your preferences for shipping it loose or setting it in a bespoke piece. If you'd like a setting estimate before purchasing the stone, please email us at hello@mondaygems.com. Keep in mind that Gem Drop items are first come, first served, so we can't hold a gemstone until it is purchased on our site. Once you’ve made your purchase, we can hold the stone while you're considering setting options.

  • We operate as a custom jewelry studio, so we can always source gemstones specifically for your bespoke project based on your unique preferences and parameters.

  • Loose gemstones will be shipped within 5 business days.

    If you choose to have your gemstone set in a bespoke piece, the process typically takes 6-9 weeks. This timeframe can vary depending on the number of design revisions and your feedback.

Shipping

  • Your custom order will ship once the final invoice has been completed and the shipping insurance paperwork is finalized. This typically requires 2 - 3 business days to arrange once your final payment has been completed.

  • Yes, but VAT and Customs are the responsibility of the importer (i.e our client’s).

  • If you need it sooner/by a specific date, please let us know! We'll do our best to accommodate your request and provide you with feedback deadlines to ensure we can meet your desired timeframe.

  • No, at this time, for insurance purposes all pieces must be shipped to you via our shipping partner.

  • No, our default shipping method does not require a signature. If you would like a signature to be added to your shipment, please let us know prior to/when completing the final invoice. Adjustments can not be made once your package has been picked up by our shipping partner.

Policies

  • At Monday Gems Studio, every piece is custom-crafted and made to order. This personalized, made-to-order approach means every piece is unique. Consequently, we are unable to accept returns, exchanges or cancelations, and all sales/deposits are final and nonrefundable. We take great pride in our detailed craftsmanship and are dedicated to providing you with a high-quality piece you will treasure.

  • We encourage you to provide your feedback during the Design phase to ensure your custom piece comes to life exactly as you imagine it. If your final design stays largely consistent with the baseline design your estimate was created from, you can expect the total cost to remain as the quoted price.

    Otherwise, our team will notify you of any adjustment which would require a price update prior to executing the new design to confirm the new pricing. An additional invoice will be generated for the difference of the initial deposit and 50% of the project total.

  • We understand that a creative vision can shift. We encourage you to share feedback and ask for refinements during Stone Sourcing. Once a stone has been secured further changes are not possible. Should you choose to not to move forward with the selected stone, the deposit will be retained as it is non-refundable and covers the time, labor, and sourcing costs already incurred.

    At this point, if you’d still like to choose a different stone, the original stone will be provided to you loose upon project completion and our team will notify you of the additional pricing for new stone options.

  • We understand that a creative vision can shift. We encourage you to share feedback and ask for refinements while in the Stone Souring or Design stage. After production has begun, we cannot accommodate further changes. Should you choose to cancel the project after work has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable, as it covers the time, labor, and sourcing costs already incurred.
